Join the JCU St John Society

Do you want to increase your first aid skills?

Do you want to receive additional training in the areas of first aid?

Do you want to get the chance to practice your first aid skills and put them into action?

Do you want to volunteer some of your free time to volunteer within the community providing first aid?

Then the JCU St John Society is the group to become involved with.

The JCU St John Society is aligned with the St John Ambulance, which is a worldwide voluntary organisation, which engages volunteers to provide first aid services to benefit sporting events, cultural events and even natural disasters.

For a small commitment of time on a regular basis, the St John Society will look at the provision of additional training beyond your own initial first aid course, to aid you in providing volunteer first aid services to the community, as well as giving you valuable skills to take home and into your future workplace.

Do you think you have what it takes?

We encourage you to give it a try.

Come along to our Open Night on Tuesday 24 July from 5:30pm to see what we are all about. We're commencing with a Welcome BBQ in the courtyard of building 41, then venturing upstairs to Room 205 for some fun and activities.

If you can't make it, see us at Wednesday's Market day, 25 July 2012, for further information.

Still can't make it, we invite you to any of our Tuesday meetings from 5pm (5:30pm start) to chat to our members. We are located at the Public Health and Tropical Medicine Building (building 41), Level 2, Room 205.
