Workshop/Focus Group Invitation
Shifting the Lens: Indigenous Research into Mainstream Australian Culture
Are you interested in learning about the theory that informs many Indigenous Australians in the helping professions, in exchange for your knowledge and understanding of non-Indigenous Australian culture?
The research lens is often on Indigenous Australians’ world view; here’s an opportunity to assist Indigenous Australians to better understand the way non-Indigenous Australian culture operates.
We are inviting non-Indigenous Australians willing to share their understanding of mainstream culture in exchange for a:
FREE Fun Workshop

‘Shifting the Lens’ explores non-Indigenous Australian theory and culture to foster greater collaboration and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous helping professionals and the people they assist.
If you identify as a non-Indigenous, mainstream Australian, you are invited to take part in a research project conducted by Dr Lorraine Muller as part of her 2nd PhD study. If you would like to participate in this workshop/focus group, or would like more information, please contact lorraine.muller@gmail.com or lorraine.muller@my.jcu.edu.au .
Individual interviews are also available.
