Entertainment Centre Upgrade

The previous state government pledged one billion dollars to upgrade the Bruce Highway. North Queenslanders are still waiting. In 2009, it was a new motorsport complex at the Bohle. Again, no action.
Various sporting and entertainment interests are now pushing the new LNP government to either upgrade Townsville's existing Entertainment Centre or commit to a new complex - including a football stadium - at the Dean St railway yards.
