Have your say on improving the Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences (FAESS)
Your input will assist in improving the important contribution FAESS makes to our University community.
The FAESS comprises the Schools of:
Arts and Social Sciences;
Indigenous Australian Studies

As part of the University’s standard cycle of reviews, the Faculty is undergoing a review in September. The purpose is to examine current practice and performance and identify strategies and future opportunities the Faculty may undertake to advance the strategic intent of the University.
All staff and students are invited to make a submission to the independent Review Panel. The submission should be related to observations on, or interaction with, the Faculty and its Schools and courses within one or more of the following terms of reference:
Teaching and Learning and Contribution to the Student Experience
Research and Research Training
Leadership and Planning
People and Culture
Collaboration and engagement
Submissions should focus on providing information that would assist the Review Panel to develop meaningful commendations and recommendations to the University to affirm or improve the Faculty’s relevance and value to its community. The Panel will be interested to hear about good practices as well as any areas for improvement.
