Employer Connect is an industry networking program for JCU students.

The purpose of Employer Connect is to assist JCU students to:

  • develop their networking skills;

  • increase their network of industry contacts;

  • engage in useful career related discussions; and

  • broaden and develop students understanding of possible career outcomes.

Many students are reluctant to engage with industry professionals, for fear of ‘wasting their time’ when a legitimate e-mail connection, phone conversation or brief meeting may produce some mutually beneficial outcomes.
