Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine, Health and Molecular Sciences offers a comprehensive suite of professional health degrees. Nursing is offered in Cairns, Townsville, Mount Isa, Thursday Island and externally. Sport and allied health degrees (rehabilitation and exercise sciences), including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, are offered from the Townsville campus. Pharmacy is offered in Townsville, while Sport and Exercise Science is offered in Cairns and Townsville.
The Faculty works closely with relevant professional associations to ensure that programs are up to date with developments in professional practice. Themes of rural, remote and Indigenous issues are common to many programs.
