(Metallic Snake-eyed Skink)

Description

This skink is chiefly found in dry open country but also in eucalypt woodlands closer to the coast. The body of this skink is dark brown with pale brown stripes. It blends into the fibrous bark of the eucalypts and can be hard to see. The tail is longer than the body, snout short.
