Description
The larvae feed on a wide range of plants including many plants occurring on campus. Attendant ants are coconut ants from the genus Papyrius. Mature larvae body pinkish-grey or brown with dark brown bands, hairs present, head black. Adults iridescent purple, margins black, veins dark maybe with an orange tinge; lower surface grey-brown with orange-red spots and bands edged with iridescent bluish-green, some black spots also present.
