Description
The larvae of this species feed on a variety of plants including Alphitonia excelsa, Acacia polystachya and Millettia pinnata. They are not attended by ants. Mature larvae 17 mm long, body pale green or dull purplish blue with narrow black margins, hind wing with both a black lobe and a tail; lower surface basically dull brown with a dark brown band across all wings, there is a black spot on the lobe near the tail.
