Description
A small tree with branches forming a zig-zag; leaves in the one plane, ovate to elliptical up to 13 x 6 cm, paler on the lower surface. Flowers are pendulous on thin pedicels to 15 mm long; fruit is trilocular about 4.5 mm wide. Also found on the campus is a cultivar with burgundy-coloured foliage.
