Description

The distinctive feature of this species is the lower leaf surface being quite white because of a wax coating. Leaves appear 3 veined at base, 4-8 veins on each side of mid vein. Flowers have 6 pink to red tepals/perianth and 3 stamens, the staminal filaments are fused to form a ring. Fruit is a blue drupe to 2.8 cm long, cotyledons pink to purple.
