Description

This herb is usually trailing across the ground, stems are covered with spreading hooked hairs. Leaves compound with up to 9 leaflets, dark green above but often with a grayish-green area close to the midrib. Flowers pea-shaped, paired in a terminal or axillary raceme; corolla pink to purple, standard to 8 mm long. Pod consists of 3-6 segments or articles each with 1 yellowish or reddish-brown seed.
