SUMMARY
The Federal Government is currently deciding the fate of the Coral Sea but their proposed marine park leaves 90% of its coral reef unprotected. The "Protect Our Coral Sea" campaign aims for the establishment of a large, world-class, highly protected marine park in the Coral Sea that will provide a safe haven for marine life and recognises its historic significance.
BIOGRAPHY
Mariasole Bianco graduated from the University of Genoa with a Bachelor of Marine Biology and has a Master in Applied Science majoring in Protected Area Management (from James Cook University).
