  • preparing search strategies

  • locating material

  • synthesising information

  • searching the library catalogue, Tropicat

  • searching electronic indexes and databases

  • citing print and electronic resources

  • using software applications.

As well as offering assistance at InfoHelp, reference librarians hold special individual and group training workshops and seminars regularly throughout the year.
