How do I link my other LiveIds to my my.jcu.edu.au account?
This process can be used to have all your Live or Hotmail accounts linked to work from your my.jcu.edu.au email account. It means that you will not need to log in and out of accounts on the same web browser to access your different LiveID accounts.
To link your alternative LiveID account to your my.jcu.edu.au account, perform the following steps:

Log into your student (or personal) account at http://my.jcu.edu.au/

Click on the “More” dropdown menu along the top, and click the sub-menu “JCU Links”.

Click on “Link your other LiveID’s”.

Click “Add linked ID”.

Under "Verify your current information" your JCU my.jcu.edu.au email address should be displayed. In the “Password” text box, enter your JCU password.

In the text box beside “Windows Live ID:”, enter your other LiveID.

Immediately below in the text box beside “Password” enter your other LiveID password.

Click on the “Link” button.

You may be prompted to Update your account information for your other LiveID account. Eg, Country and year of birth. Click “Save” when done.
Your LiveID’s are now linked. To switch between Live IDs, perform the following steps:

Log into your student (or personal) account at http://my.jcu.edu.au/

Click on the “More” dropdown menu along the top, and click the sub-menu “JCU Links”.

Click on “Windows Live Account”.

Click on your name or email address appearing in the top right hand corner of the window. A drop down menu should appear. At the end should be all your linked LiveIDs. Select the LiveID you wish to switch to from the dropdown. You will now be switched to that LiveID account.

To display the inbox for your current LiveID, click on the “More” dropdown menu along the top, and click the sub-menu “JCU Links”.

Click on “Mail for Current LiveID”. Your Inbox for the current LiveID account should then appear.
To switch back to your my.jcu.edu.au account and inbox, repeat steps 2 to 6 immediately above.
