SMS for JCU Library Notices
You can receive your library notices and reminders via SMS.
If you register for this service you will receive SMS messages for:
• Recalls
• Items being held for you
• Overdues
• Pre-overdue reminder
To register visit Staff Online or StudentsOnline.
Community borrowers – please ask Library staff to register your phone number

Click Library Information and select the SMS option
2. Follow the instructions which include updating your personal details via eStudent or Staff Online to include your mobile number.
Registration will take effect after 24 hours.
International Country Codes
Please use the international form of your phone number if you wish to receive reminders outside Australia or if you are using global roaming, for example
If your country calling code is 58 (Venezuela) and your local number is 0439677335 enter your number as:
58439677335
Australian users can also use the international form of their number within Australia without consequence.
