The Learning Technologies unit manages and supports JCU's suite of technologies used for teaching and learning including:

LearnJCU – JCU's online teaching and learning environment built on the Blackboard 9 LMS
DigMedia – JCU's digital media management service incorporating JCU eLectures and Camtasia Relay

Learning Technologies:

works to develop and improve the functionality and integration of technologies that support flexible learning and teaching
provides a comprehensive range of support options for staff and students including phone, email and web based assistance
offers staff development opportunities focussed on best practice use of learning technologies
provides advice on producing media suitable for m-learning (accessible on mobile devices)
contributes technical expertise to University and Faculty/School based e-learning projects
